VidsSave - Social Downloader (“VidsSave”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) respects your privacy and is fundamentally committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy details our exact practices regarding the collection, processing, local storage, and security of information when you interact with the VidsSave Web Client, Progressive Web Application (PWA), and Android Application.

02. Information We Do NOT Collect

  • No Contact or Phone Data: We never request or access your contacts, phone numbers, or messaging lists.
  • No Precise Geolocation: We do not track, collect, or store your GPS coordinates or physical location history.
  • No Cross-Site Tracking: We do not deploy third-party advertising tracking pixels, fingerprinting scripts, or behavioral ad-tech cookies.
  • No Sale of Personal Data: We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to marketing bureaus, data aggregators, or advertisers.

03. Guest Usage vs. Authenticated Accounts

Guest Mode (Default): You are free to resolve video links, inspect media resolutions, and execute downloads entirely as a guest without creating an account or providing an email address.

Optional Firebase Authentication: If you voluntarily choose to sign in to synchronize your VIP subscription across multiple devices, we utilize Google Firebase Authentication. Passwords are encrypted directly on Google Firebase Auth servers.

04. Information Handled Locally on Your Device

To provide instant, responsive user interactions, VidsSave stores functional operational data strictly locally within your browser using standard localStorage:

  • vidsave_downloads: Chronological list of media files you downloaded on this device.
  • vidsave_vip: Boolean flag caching unlocked feature state in your session.

05. Media Stream Processing & Zero-Hosting Architecture

All media streams are relayed in real-time through our streaming proxy directly to your browser download manager. VidsSave does NOT store, host, or catalog user media files on server hard drives. All files reside exclusively on your local device storage.

06. Cryptomus Cryptocurrency Payment Gateway

For VIP subscriptions, we integrate Cryptomus. All transactions occur on Cryptomus encrypted checkout. VidsSave never sees, handles, or stores your private keys or wallet credentials.

07. Data Security & Encryption in Transit

All communication is strictly enforced over encrypted HTTPS / TLS 1.3 connections.

08. Children's Privacy (COPPA & GDPR Compliance)

VidsSave is designed for general audiences and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA).

09. User Rights & Complete Data Deletion

You can delete all local records instantly via the Downloads screen or clear your browser site data.
